Admission Prices

VIP Weekend passes can be purchased in advance through the web site up until Thursday, October 25! Buy tickets for $28 in advance – that’s a 20% discount off the door price of $35. VIP passes get you admission to both days of the convention as well as free admission to the Zombie Ball (18 and over with ID).

Single day admission costs $15 and is available at the door only. Children 10 and under get in for half-price. You can save a few bucks with the following discounts:

  • Bring a non-perishable food item for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and receive $2 off the single day admission price on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Attend the Zombie Walk and you will receive $5 off the single day admission on Sunday.
  • Give blood at the Central Blood Bank Bloodmobile on Sunday and receive $5 off the single day admission.

Tickets for the Zombie Ball are $15 at the door.

One discount per person. Advance internet tickets must be redeemed at will call with your PayPal receipt and valid ID.


Karl Hardman Memorial
1927 - 2007

The It's Alive! 2007 Zombie Fest is respectfully dedicated to the memory of Mr. Karl Hardman, known throughout the world for his portrayal of Harry Cooper in the original Night of the Living Dead. We will provide attendees with several opportunities over the course of the weekend to express their thoughts and memories of Karl.

Zombie Walk Record Wager

If we lose we post a picture on www.theitsaliveshow.com that says " www.zombiefriends.com - Screamfest Zombies Get More Brains".

If we win they will post a picture on the front page of www.zombiefriends.com that says " www.theitsaliveshow.com - Pittsburgh Zombies Get More Brains".

The Picture will stay up until from November 1st Until Dec 1st.

So let’s kick some Southeastern butt and double last year’s count of 894! Don’t forget to bring your food donation for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank!


Savini School

The It’s Alive! 2007 Zombie Fest is pleased to announce that the Tom Savini Special Make-Up Effects Program of the Douglas Education Center has joined the list of exhibitors.

Faculty and students of the program will be on hand at noon on Saturday (10/27) at Exhibit Hall Stage A to demonstrate zombie make-up techniques ranging from flat paint to movie quality on school models and audience members. The school will also be providing educational information about its programs and will have make-up kits for sale

We're pleased and excited to have such presitigious zombie VIPs participating in Zombie Fest 2007! But that's not all, we will also be screening the East Coast premiere of BLB Media’s Zombie Farm! Called "wildly entertaining and enjoyable" and "a hell-bound hayride of absurdity" by reviewers, Zombie Farm tells the story of the small California town of Muerto Verde and what happens to its inhabitants when their water supply is tainted by a deadly toxin. Zombie Fest 2007 will feature a spacious vendor area, gaming tournaments, speakers panels, make-up demonstrations, and much more! VIP Weekend Passes are on sale now via the web site for $28 ($35 at the door).

Check out the Zombie Ball on Saturday night with guest bands The Ubangis, The Forbidden 5, Motorpsychos and DEATHMOBILE. Open to guests 18 and older (ID required). Enjoy complimentary beer (while it lasts, 21 and up) courtesy of Straub Brewing. Tickets are $15 but admission is free if you have a VIP Weekend Pass.

Be part of history on Sunday morning at the Zombie Walk, where we will attempt to break our own Guinness Record-- for World’s Largest Zombie Gathering. There is no fee to participate in the Zombie Walk.
